I also did not find the thomas recipe..or at least did not follow it as recommended untiol i was literally melting into my couch! then i did it correctly along with exercise and meetings and came out of my slump..tyrosine helped me the most with energy..to this day i still take tyrosine, glutamine, phenylalnine, 5htp daily...i found what helped me the most..i take my 5htp at night with 800 mgs of magnesium for sleep and pain/calcium then as well
good luck and there are lots of energy based herbs out there..piracetum, gingko biloba, yohimbee/many more r out there/ with an rx provigil helped me and made me able to work thru the fatigue...rocket shots were also depended on for a while to get out the door for work..exercise also did wonders
Other things that help with energy are things like Chloryphyl (in liquid form) and you just add it to your water. It helps with energy. Like Cathy mentioned the Thomas Recipe and the Amino Acid Protocol - as found down on the lower right hand corner of this page. Good luck!!! Hugs, Janet
the thomas and the aminos protocol have great suggestions...unfortunately i didnt find them til later in my recovery. i drank those rock star drinks..like 3 or 4 a day...they helped but didnt last long enough....good luck!!!
A lot of peps use the Thomas recipe.. I have heard nothing but good remarks.. during wd tapering and after for help with energy and sleep..
