Hey girl, Don't know about the sleep meds but just wanted to say hi and glad your feeling a little better. So sorry about your accident. Bieng on the meds for a few weeks will get to you. I know from some relapses I've had for a week after a few months clean and I had wds...not as bad but they were there and unwelcome. I have 31 days now and will be having surgery on the 10th and will be on a morphine pump. I will have 6 weeks but am so scared of the meds. I don't want the setback but sometimes we need them for short tern bc the pain would be unbearable. My goal is to be on them for less than a week. Hope I can reach it. Take care. Corey
Thanks guys. needed to know that. DO you know why aftes 2 1/2 weeks I'm starting to withdraw after this ****? Like breaking all the bones were not enough LOL.
hi plymouthgirl, so good to see you posting....and to know you are better. i have missed you.
dont know anything about restoril...just wanted to say hello and i have been prayin for ya.
Restorilâ„¢ (temazepam) is a benzodiazepine hypnotic agent. The chemical name is 7-chloro- 1,3-dihydro-3-hydroxy-1-methyl-5-phenyl-2H-1,4-benzodiazepin-2-one, and the structural formula is:
Anyway it is a form of temazepam/a benzo...it is not as strong nor as dangerous as dalmane..but it is in the benzo family
restoril should work better then ambien It worked great for me the best I have used .Here is the bad part if you take them more then a few nights in a row when you try to stop you wont be able to sleep without them .I suggest you use the very sparingly
Restoril is in the benzo family...and u know how benzos are girl...dalmane is also in the benzo family but both are designed for sleep verses anxiety...my mother is on dalmane and has been for years...she is not an abuser but had encephalitis and extreme vertigo...sleeping sicknes for a while..then it turned into not being able to sleep..she is 74, has Rhuematoid arthritis and i really dont care if she takes a dalmane every night to get good sleep..but she is addicted to them..this i know as when i hurt she used to give me one every blue moon as it is a fantastic muscle relaxer..she wont anymore so i know she has to have one each night
thing is..use it short term..it is more addicting than ambien..may work better...probably does..but it is more addicting than ambien for most people
