how long does meth stay in a newborn babies melacoma? What are the laws that allow California CWS(child welfare services) to test a newborn if the Mother tested clean?

  Most hospitals do know check as a policy. Are you asking about methadone or crstal meth? and are you currently  pregnate and how often//much are you using? They can test any baby regardless of whether the mom was clean or not .mioconduim can go back to at  least 5 months I have heard slightly earlier as well.Lots of hospitasl are just checking now as hospital pollicy .Has the baby been showing any signs of WD?
