okay so i have 123 days clean

wow i would have never thought i would have made it through the hell this addiction takes us through..  as some know i was on norco 10/325 about 15 a day on and off but mostly on for about 7 years..  and  123 days ago i took my life back and it has been no walk in the park..

But i have to say it is so wonderful having my life back..  Of course there are ups and downs but hey who doesn't have them..  I want to thank each and every person that has helped me through my recovery..  And helping me make right decisions when my mind was irrational..  And ready to use..  i really am so grateful of my sobriety and i hold it sacred..  i will guard it at all cost..  And thank you again to everyone that helped me out..

And if there are one's out there still hanging on the fence still wondering the what if's , just take the jump and get on with it already..  It will be hard very very hard, but it will get easier..  You just have to go through it..  well best of luck to all and keep your head up..

Hi Sophia! You are absolutely inspiring! You give me hope! Thank you for sharing your story and struggle! Thank you for reaching out to those of us still in this mess! In a disease that often isolates us, you make me feel like I'm not as alone as I feel! My question is: What is it about this problem, that makes me at least, reach out to complete strangers for help, yet I can not or will not reach to my family! Still can't figure that one out! Congratulations and best wishes!!

you are so right Bama, it does show us another way of living is possible..  That we don't have to depend on a little pill bottle or for me it was a big pill bottle lol..  And you know that feels great..  For the first time i am gonna go on vacation and not have to worry if i will have enough pills to get me through..  or we all know we would just call off the vacation..  all for stupid little pills..  But i no longer have to worry about that..  i can't even begin to explain to you the joy that has been placed in my heart..  And the wheight that has been lifted off me..  But I thank each and everyone of you for your support and dedication to the people on this site..  You may not realize how many lives you help..  Cause  there are alot of us that actually have the happily ever after.. And that is exactly what i'm gonna choose for my life "pill free"

loves , hugs, and kisses

Whoot whoot.  I think when you get this far out all things are possible. You can see that you don't need a drug to determine how your day week or life is gonna be.

So proud of you.

Congrats on your clean time!! Your post gives me hope, I am almost 41 hours into my withdrawals. I was taking up to 120-150mg roxicodone a day. I can't wait for the day I wake up n say wow I feel more clear than ever and I don't need to rely on a pill to get me thru. I am very happy for you! :)
