opiates and 3 months pregnant

Hello community.
i am 29 years old and nearly 3 minths pregnant.
i have been on pain pills for about 3 years. I am an addict.  I had prescriptions for loritabs after my first child and thats when my heavy usage of pain pills begsn ... i have used them nearly this whole first trimester .. of course the first month of my pregnancy, i didnt know i was pregnant .. i was using oxycodone aka Roxies  . Usually the 30mgs .. sometimes id use 60mg on days.. but not daily... some days i might of only had 10-15mg .. and also opanas, 7.5-10mgs .. usually i could make a whole one of those last a day or two. And i  used those every day for nearly two weeks... as you can tell, i had something nearly every day, but my use with the pills wasnt as heavy as others.  . But probably only because i was limited on how much or what i could get every day .. im off pills bow, i weaned myself of during the two weeks of using the opanas(oxymorphone) ... im just curious how high you guys yhibk the chances sree of my child having some kind of birth defect is? ... like i said i used every day, but it definitely wasnt as heace of a usage as it couldve been or as ive been before... good advice only ..please no hurtful comments... i know it was selfish and wrong but i did the right thing and got off of them ... just need advice and helpful opinions please

Does your OB know about this?  Did you go cold turkey?

You need to be 1000% honest w/ your obgyn. None of us can answer that. What would keep you from doing that again? We're addicts and we need help. Willpower or good intentions are meaningless when it comes to our drug of choice. Please talk to your doc and start aftercare immediately.

I think as long as you have stopped taking the roxies and all, and start taking prenatal vitamins the risk will lessen. I'm no doctor so I can't say if your baby will have a birth defect or not but I will definitely pray that he/she doesn't. You did the right thing by stopping. It's hard when your addicted to something like that. I know, I have before. I hope for the best for you!
