Hey ppl i joined this site to get some advice on kicking this nightmare addiction to opiates.My gf and I are on day one and my father for just happend to give me Lyrica today my withdrawls have kicked in and the sweats and muscle cramping are brutal but the Lyrica is amazingly eliminating my withdrawls and im high as fk feels kinda strange but no withdrawls now no pain. im hoping this lyrica is gonna get me trough this hell reading these posts are awesome knowing that others are going through this hell.Morphine 200s for 2 years is my addiction

Pat , you need to smoke the sativa strains that cost$50.00- $70.00 an eighth on the street. The cheap Mexican brick weed will make you paranoid and have headaches. The medical-marijuana strains from Cali and Colorado are the best. No paranoia. See , I too used to get paranoid from smoking ditch weed that's $30.00 for a half ounce . Ya get stems and seeds and paranoid. Gotta spend the money for the good grass , and I've heard it works great for pain, especially if eaten instead of smoked. I wish I lived in a medical marijuana state.

I really wish I liked smoking pot.  I get really paranoid from it.  Even in my teens.  I kept trying lol but no luck.

Pat, it is also used to treat fibromyalgia pain, but you are correct , not good to take too long because it does create a physical dependence. The herb thing is okay. It causes no physical dependence at all and at worst makes a chronic user eat a lot of twinkles . Cut, dry, smoke, or eat and cook or whatever. Zero deaths attributed to its use in 6000 recorded years of history. A few states in America have their heads straight, hope the rest follow soon. Be a better world AND economy.

I swear you have shares in Lyrica.  It's an anti seizure med.  I wouldn't play with it if I was you..  Congrats on quitting oxy's but I wouldn't want to mess with anything unless it was prescribed.

my addiction was 5 to 6 oxy 80s a day, and morphine 200s. going for day 3 now, and i thank LYRICA for this so far. we are doing great, and a little herb gives me the munchies for food which gives me more strength to go on with my day. someone offered me some percocets, and I felt angry, It's like i'm gone anti pills now. I've lost my home, and my girl, I had to move back with my mother for six months, lucky i still got my job. fk pills. felling really good right now, thanks to Lyrica. :D

I'm still getting the sweats sometimes, but as soon as the lyrica kicks in, i can actually feel normal again. Lyrica is amazing.

I only planned on taking them for a few days, I don't plan on getting addicted to it. I did alot of research on it, that's why I know that it's good for opiate addiction. My girlfriend and I are doing great so far, it's been the second day now without opiates, and boy do i ever feel good about it. The opiates were taking all my money away, going broke all the time *****, so I had to do something. When my father gave me Lyrica I thought it was an act of god, I'm extreamly happy about getting off of them, was to much.

Unfortunately, my friend, you are trading one addiction for another. Lyrica is a controlled prescription drug that you will get dependent on if you are not careful. Do some research , and don't take them for more than you absolutely have to. Stay strong.

I think lyrica is used for nerve pain or something but omfg im not withdrawing i cant believe this is working for us.I have about 20 lyrica pills left its amazingly working wish us luck its day 2 no withdrawls WOW
