opiod use

I have been using vicodin for 4 years. I have tried to stop, been to detox,NA nothing seems to be helping. I started off taking them for back pain and then became addicted. I cannot seem to stop thinking about them, and try everything to get them when I run out. It has pushed my spouse away and I want to stop but its always on my mind. I currently take about 5 daily and I am 7 months pregnant. I want to taper off,can someone please tell me how can I do that without the mental withdrawals and aggitation? I cannot do this anymore. This is suppose to be a happy time with my pregnancy, but find myself trying to find ways to alleviate the withdrawals...... that's why I keep using...........HELP
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

You need to taper off of meds your pregnant .I am going to contact one of our members she is/was an obgyn nurse .She has helped many of our pregnant ladies. Also if you haven't it is VERY important you tell you doctor !!!! I realize its scary but this is about the health of your unborn baby .This will be OK you will have a happy healthy baby :)
