How long after one begins taking suboxone do they begin tapering off? curious
Those are YOUR words...not mine.
Feel better!
yeah i guess im over exaggerating... i guess its all in my head...
Okay. Dying...let's see...LOL...keep breathing! So much of this process is made worse by what we're THINKING. Stop thinking Bobby. Distract yourself. Watch a movie or read a book. Seriously...give your head a rest. Are you eating? You need food. Protein and carbs. You'll feel horrible without food.
If this is the fourth time, what's the problem? Do you think you need to get some therapy or some support for this?
Yes my subs were monitored by a really good doctor, I started taking subs in rehab and was monitored afterwards so I have experience with it the way it should be taken.
jus feel like im dying...this is the fourth time im going cold turkey...the first time i stayed clean for a month...i hate myself for not stopping then...the next 2 times it was for 2 weeks or so...ive been taking vitamins and drinking lots of liquids... i did exercise yesterday but today i jus feel so weak
Bobby- you've already got 2 days into this so why not just push through? The 3rd day is generally the peak and then you'll begin to feel a little better.
Maybe I can help with some suggestions...what's the worst symptom you're having?
Thanks for the support...I wanna take the suboxone but I dont want to start another cycle of detox...idk want to do at this point...
Andie...I agree with you. And I actually think the sub for 5 days would work just fine for this purpose. It's not exactly the way to use the drug but...no one here is the Suboxone police! Good luck getting clean Bobby!
Your use of subs. Was it not regulated by a doctor in rehab?
And bobby> are you under doc's care for the subs?
Makes a big difference if your just trading one for the other.
Your at day 2 maybe 2-3 days at most and you will start to feel better.
I do have experience with suboxone. Mine experience was very positive. It was an absolute life saver for me, I don't know if I would be where I am today without it. When I stopped I got chills and sweats but that's about it. I do see people on here who say they are worse than pills but I don't agree...that's just me though. Don't not try something because of what people say...give it a try and make your own decision.
I don't have personal experience with Sub, but on this site you'll get plenty of action on this question. My answer is: never use an opiate to stop an opiate. Your withdrawal will keep going on and on.
You're in a good position to stop right now. You're already into it and 2 days have gone by. Thats good news. You'll feel sick for a period of time, length depending on how much oxy you've been on, but the rewards of going through with this are wonderful. You'll be free.
Look below on the right and click on the Thomas recipe. Get those items and follow the directions. That will help you thru this. There are lot's of other counter actions to the WDs that you can do. Take lot's of hot Epsom baths. they will calm you down during the day and help you get some sleep at night. Also, sleep when you can. It's going to be like having the flu for awhile. Keep posting, we'll all help you through this.
hi Bobby....i have no experience with subs but i've heard they are harder to come off of than pain pills....idk....i guess it depends on the person....just wanted to lend my support and let you know you aren't alone....someone will come along and give you more info about the sub thing....just hang on...we want to help.
Hi and welcome.
Why would you want to trade one for the other. If it was me id stay away from the subs altogether. Nasty stuff I've read.
If on day 2 and no pills you are not far a few days you should start to feel better.
Are you drinking fluids? Exercise? It is so important to move the first days.
Hang on your almost over the worst of it
