The lack of energy is really tough in these days.  Try the Amino Acid Protein Shakes (GNC) each morning.  3 big scoops each morning will help you tremendously.  As hard as this might sound......try to exercise.  It was next to impossible for me during these days but I tell you what.....It really, REALLY helps.  If you can get a good sweat going and get some sun it will do you wonders. And lots of Gatorade!

Oh wow.  I have been taking percs for 2 years, previously took hydrocodein for 6 years, previosly took codeine and tynelon.  All originally started in 1993, when I was in an accident.  I didn't realize it was that long.  I will tell you this.  For such a long length of time using, this is really is not bad.  What about the tiredness feeling in the morning, when will that go away because that is really bothering me?.  It's as if my brain is still sleeping.

We have abused our bodies for so long with narcotics.  We are addicted and our bodies are fighting to be clean.  It's going to take you some time.  I didn't have a plan when I went cold turkey. I found this forum 28 days ago on my 2nd day feeling just as you do.  Today I'm 30 days clean.  Here's a post I did on Memorial weekend that may be of some help.  Congratulations on your decison!

Km is spot on. I thought as soon as the crap was out of my system I would magically be back to my pre-drug self. Not true. Find peace in knowing that each day clean your body is healing and you are closer to feeling normal. Tired *****, but if you were not tired you could be saddled with anxiety. Take the tired and just go with it for now. Tomorrows a new day....hang in there Suzi (thats my best friends name btw)  :)

Hello!! I also abused Percocet. You are early in your withdraw...it is going to take some time. The first week is pure hell I'm not going to sugar coat it. You will get through this!!!!!i am on day 19 today and still dealing with issues. After the first 7 days the physical withdraws will subside quite a bit. Stock up on items in the Thomas recipe...they will help!!!! How much and how long were you taking the percs? Stay strong and good luck to you!!
