it s been 7 days now i m again using heroin. we just got back from a trip. my wife wanted to go see her  parents, it d been long she had visited them. so i being home alone and thinking that it s been long i ve been clean and what the hell if i used it just once, stupid of me to think like that. she s still at her parents and i m scared that i ll be going through w/ds again and she s gonna get hurt when she ll find out. i going to see my dr tomorrow.
What do you guys think how bad w/ds would be?

Hey Gunn it time to stop the longer you go the worst your withdrawals will be you can still get out with a mild withdrawal if you stop now .....keep going and you know where that will get you
your going to need to seek out some form of aftercare to help you threw the mental part of this it will also help you with the cravings but dude stop b/4 you make this any worst good luck and God bless..........Gnarly

Gunn, I am thinking of and praying for you. I have no knowledge of heroin, but others do. You will probably have wd since you have been using for a week straight, but better to stop now! You can beat this, you had 6 months before, and you have been so supportive of me and lots of people here. Find that inner strength that I know you have! I believe in you.

Hey Yall! He said hes been using for 8 days straight! Not just once! why are people saying that you just used once??? I can read..... I'm telling you that you will have to detox. I'm telling you that it's gonna suck.... but not as bad as when you'd been using for years..... and I'm telling you that if you don't stop now, you're going to die. Heroin is nothing to mess with. It is time for you to decide what is more important.... you or the drugs..... if it's the drugs.... easy choice but your wife deserves to be told by your mouth that you are choosing those drugs over yourself, and her. If you really want to put yourself first.... your health and well being (which we all want for you) then it's time to fix this! Cut off your sources..,.. even if it means that you have to surrender every dollar you earn and ask your wife to buy you a pack of gum. You may feel a little bad after once but no horrible. You probably will notice it though. But I'm telling you from tons of experience if it's 2 days or more in a row you WILL be back in WD. So stop now and you probably be ok. Another day of using and you will feel it for sure. Once we use enough to go through wd it is SO Easy and fast for us to be dependent again. I'm sure there is a medical reason but if I use for a day or 2 I am back in wd. 3-4 days forget it I am full blown again. So yeah, stop now.

goodness but I hope that you're okay.... You are in a tough place and there really isn't anyone who can help you but you.... You HAVE to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep moving forward. You will most likely experience symptoms of wd but it wont be anything like last time if you STOP NOW!!! Your wife is going to come home soon..... What would you prefer that experience to look like? You high.... you dead on your living room floor..... or you, not necessarily in a good way but saying that you screwed up but are back on the wagon getting better again.... You decide... She will understand, if you make the right choice.

Bro, I was a long time heroin user. If your sickness was over and you used just one time, You will not have any withdrawls at all! I know how hard it is not to use bro. Hang in there and stay strong! Stay as busy as possible to keep them demons from telling you "its ok to do it one more time" Cause we both know its not! Usually one more time is either death, or right back into the game. Message me if you need someone to talk to. I have only been clean from heroin 43 days but I still think about it everyday.

I've been following your story so I do know this is your first attempt to get clean and you did well until now. Now you need help--outside help. Many of us find that we cannot do this alone and when we finally surrender, get humble and ask for help, our lives change. Relapse is not a requirement but it does happen so don't beat yourself up. It is what you do next that is important.

Eight days should not produce much withdrawal and you would have felt it after a couple of hours anyway. You may be uncomfortable with your stomach and RLS for a few days but I wouldn't expect more than that. Push fluids, take hot baths and do as much exercise as you can. Hang in there hun, we are all pushing for you.
