its been 7 dys off methdone using pills can i go on suboxone now?

i have been off my methadone,bout 70mls  a day for ever ,for 7 days now,i want to go on suboxone but dont wanna go into percipitated withdrawls so i have been putting my dr off as he thought i ws only on 12mls ,and using pills about one and a half 80mg oxys a day i am going on tuesday to see him and i wanna know if i dont take anything on monday will i be good to start suboxon by tuesday?

Just so I understand---you went off of Methadone 7 days ago but have been using Oxy? If that is it I hope you really think twice about going on Suboxone. You got off of the Methadone and that is great. In a few days you could be off of the Oxy. Suboxone can be a rough detox, as mentioned.

Certainly none of us can tell you what to do but I hope you have done your research on it and plan to use it as intended. I hope you do the whole program is what I am saying.

Well.....I too was on methadone for a long while.....If you are 7 days clean already why are you going on Suboxone?  I am a big fan of cold turkey.  I have know a lot of people that have gone onto Suboxone and it is worse to detox then methadone.  I would really do some sole searching and ask yourself if trading one pill for another is worth it!  

I truly hope that you take a good hard look at what you are trying to achieve....NO PILLS.  If you are functioning after only 7 days sober off of the methadone then you have a really good chance of getting sober now....Good luck and God Bless!
