small doses oxycocet and oxycotin

I'm new here.  Glad to see on this site and that we can be there for each other.  Can't believe how easy it is to get dependent on this drug to feel normal.  I am taking what I think is small amounts.  About 2 20s and 5-6 5s per day.  Been taking for about 2 years.  When I try to stop even this small amount I start to feel strange.  Crawling feeling and a sense that I am going to feel much worse if I don't take a pill.  I tell myself that it is only a few pills and I will stop another time...it will be pretty easy to stop but not right now.  My question is since it is a small amount will the withdrawls just be minor discomfort for a few days or so?  Or can I expect to feel bad for many days?  I just want to stop cold turkey and get this **** over with .  I got to stop being foolish face up to the "bad time".  It is not going to kill me I hope.  Thx.. for any comments and great site.

It is a rather high dose to me and nothing to be taken lightly...it is all in perspective to what u consider low or high....i was at 60-80 80 mg of hydro a day and for me that was a big deal....it is individual to the person...i have seen people on 30-40 mg a day of hydro be upset and worried about quitting...u might think about tapering and cutting out the oxycontin first as they are long acting and harder to withdraw from..there is a great tapering article in the health pages...or u could CT....tapering takes discipline and is hard for many...i had to hand my pills over!...ur dose is high enough to be a problem for many

Hi, welcome to the forum. magi is right. You have some rough days ahead. I hate to tell you this, but ya have built quite the tolorence up to opiates, thus, you'll be dealing with full blown w/d's. O.C.'s are potent. No matter how much you've relegated yourself to. My best suggestion would be to read up on the Thomas reciepe and amino protocol in the health pages. But, the most important thing is that you realize this has to be done. It will only get worse if just try and ignore it. Timing, tapering and a lot of watching these posts and reading them will really help. You have found a great bunch of people to ask questions though. Keep posting and Good luck. You CAN do it, if you really want to.

Welcome to the forum. Because you've been on them for about 2 years, you'll still experiance the withdrawels.  5-7 days approx. of feeling really bad, then better each day after.  No, withdrawels won't kill you. You will just feel like your gonna die. But if you've ever had the bad flu before, just think of it like that. You'll get thru it.
When do you plan on starting?
Good luck and keep posting.  You can do this. A much better life is ahead.

your dose is actually not that small. My dose is small compared to that. I take 10mg norco in the evening . 65 mg is getting up there. Sorry but thats my opinion.
