im a little over 4 months clean minus a small 2 day relapse and i didn't start to feel "normal or good" until probably the last month i am now having more good feeling days than bad finally just hang in there it will happen i promise you just have to be patient. some days for me i felt like i would "die" from the way i felt mentally it was just awful but when i felt like that i would have a day or two of feeling really great we did so much damage to our bodies with these drugs I'm not sure how long u used but i have been putting substances in my body for almost 40 years but a pretty heavy opiate habit for  the last 15 years so just give it some more time it will happen it really will just dont use because as much as you think that is feeling "normal" its the farthest thing from it i myself have NEVER felt the way i do now probably since i was a kid and congrats on your 21 days thats awesome!!

Hey, Congratulations on 21 days !!!
Yeah, this is an annoying symptom, but not the worst by far : )
I sneezed constantly, till i was about 6 months clean !!!

My goodness, i dont know how many times ive heard people say, they feel they will never be normal without using.
I still feel this way some days and i quit drugs over a year ago.
The fact is, you wont feel like this forever, but it can take a good year or 2 for some people to feel like all the side effects from quiting using are left behind.
It doesnt mean we feel like rubbish the whole time, but drugs do an immense job of stuffing up our entire body.
I didnt feel somewhat "normal" till i hit 6 months clean, and everyday i questioned how broken i really was. I thought, oh perhaps the drugs i was taking were much more potent than every member on mh and i was different to them, that all the other people would heal but me !!!
The fact is, i was the same as everyone else on here, i felt broken, but i wasnt, but only time being totally clean will make a difference in those thoughts and feelings passing, because they do pass.
What your going through atm, is what each person goes through in early detox, but the more you think about the negative, the more fuel you add to the fire. And i know its hard not to think about it, believe me, but you dont want to stress yourself out with something that may not even happen.
Also, we all have a very unique detox and recovery, so there is no saying when you will stop sneezing or stop having thoughts of not being able to cope.
But it does go away : )
Your 3 weeks clean, all the initial hard part is done, now its just focusing on the things that will make your recovery strong and make you happy.
Well done, your doing a fantastic job so far : )
