i have been off my norco for 3 weeks cold turkey..i have been taking them for 4 years 10/325's atleast 10 a day...i went through all the terrible zombie like feelings..cold chills...sweats..nauseas, diarheea..sleepless..restless legs, cramps, body aches..and terrible misery and depression...i still feel completely miserable and craving for a yellow pill so badly to bring me out of this misery and i feel total body aches from head to toe and nothing takes them away..does anyone feel this way? when will i feel totatlly normal again? i dont even really know what feeling normal is like at all..i take a half of valium once in awhile because i feel total anxiety and restless and completely angry at the world as well..just had to get this off my chest..

First of all, well done on your 3 weeks, that is awesome. You have done so well. I know what you mean that it sometimes feels like its never ending. I felt like that for about 4 weeks but even though you wouldnt think it, excercise is a good idea, it releases our own endorphins and helps you feel a bit better.Take vitamins and eat bananas, it gives you energy. I went through tons of them. It could also be a bit of depression as the mental side kicks in about the 2nd week, so your probably a bit down. Keep it going though, its so worth it. It will get better, i promise you that. Good luck, you can do this, you are doing it...Kim

Congrats on 3 weeks iv just c/t off heroin and my body still feels like its all over the place aches and sore most days. But feel like im getting there now. I have just started to get regular sleep paterns so i think just a lil longer and you should start to feel feel better. I also agree with (refusingbondage) exercise is key .The very best of luck to you. You have come so far my friend ,,,,,James

I would suggest vitamins and exercise... sometimes once the worst of the physical stuff ends the emotional stuff begins.  I went through a terrible emotional depression coming off suboxone. The only thing that helped me was really stepping up exercise. Even though I didnt want to. Even though sometimes I would cry through my jogs.. It really really really helped.  Slowly it will get better.  Just hang in there.  And congrats on 3 weeks.. Thats great!

i feel for ya. seems like you should be feeling good soon. i quit with a long taper and by 3 weeks i felt pretty much normal again. when i quit, i went on this diet of raw fresh foods and cut out all the junk stuff. like sugar, flour, reg. salt, sodas, processed food. anyway it really made me feel energized and also was getting a lot of sleep. sometimes 2 naps a day and good nite sleep too. the body does it's healing while we are sleeping. also if we eat alot of bad stuff it is too busy trying to digest it to get to other things.

try to get some good stuff in and some bad stuff put away. it is like a car, our bodies. if we put bad gas in or not enough oil, it runs like ****. hah
hope you are feeling great soon. and congrats!!!!!
