hi im new to this, ive been taking narco vicoden and darvocet for about 18mo. never took a pill until i had my first baby 18 mo ago.i never took more than 4 a day. ive been clean 6 days now. how long exactly does this horrible withdrawl stuff last. my baby needs her momma back. anyone know???

Nice to see ya :) Better days are coming Soon ,there are supplements that can help with energy and depression......
if you are not on an anti depressant you can take either SAMM E or hpt5 there are some other recommendations on the Thomas recipe.
I hope you stick around there is great support here.

Also i forgot to mention... it "normally" takes about 2 weeks to feel totally better! so dont get depressed.. keep on doing what your doing

Thomas recipe mention Immodium too. Bananas constipate and give you potassium. They help a lot.

I missed part - the immodium in the Thomas Recipe is for the diarrea and do not let yourself get dehydrated - fluids - gatorade, pedialyte, fruit juices (NON CITTRIC) take care.

Oh i am sure. it dosent sound like you have it that bad. when I stopped I felt like I was going 10,000 miles a min. and if you want to know what I went thru go back to the forum and see what I posted.

Take the advice about the Thomas Recipe  - the w/d's could last 5-7 days but they will be diminishing as you progress - and it is extremely worth doing and waiting for.

You should be starting to feel better any day now from the physical w/d's.
Mentally, you may still be sluggish for a few weeks, but you're doing so well to be on day 6 already! The worst is behind you now.

Girl the same thing happened to me but I freaked out after my first baby. I just stopped the pain pills and had no clue that all of that withdrawl was from the pain pills. what kind of withdrawl are you expierencing? Good for you for staying clean! You know the actuall drug only stays in your body for about 3-4 days.. so good for you!
