Yep, find a Dr.  Shop around though, some charge ridiculous fees.

salsinator is correct, you can only get that medication from a licensed suboxone prescribing doctor and that website will help you. I was prescribed suboxone for nearly 3 years after a 5 year addiction to oxycontin. This medication saved me. Now I am off the suboxone and am doing great. It has been about 3 months since I've taken any opiate. Try to find that doctor, I assure you if you stick to the docs plan it will help you.

Hi Kingpins.  Your family doctor probably cannot prescribe suboxone, it can only be prescribed by a suboxone trained physician, so you would most likely have to go to another doctor to get it - that could be a good thing in your current situation.  Go to naabt.org, there is a physician locator that will help you locate a doctor in your area who can prescribe suboxone.  I took suboxone for quite a few years - so just a word of warning, it is addictive and can be very difficult to get off of.  I am happy to share more with you if interested.  Good Luck.
