need to get suboxone when i'm in las vegas for work convention . i'm from Australia and this job is very important and i don't want to used H when i'm there cause from my experience it easy to get H then suboxone. can any one help me?

I dont know what the laws are in Australia but you can bring suboxone across boarders. I was able to bring my subs with me from the US to france, germany, switzerland, and holland with no problems. Kept them in there original bottle and had a 30 day supply with me. Customs did not think twice and let me go. Not sure where u got the info u cant bring subs to US?? Id do more research or call. I'm currently on suboxone (stable, decreasing dosage and not using h or any other drugs apart from occassionally Valium in low infrequent doses which I'm prescribed for panic attacks) and recently very nearly lost my job as my manager overheard me talking to the secretary (who is lovely and really understanding) then tried to have me fired. I had to obtain a medical certificate to prove I was fit to work and drive (as part of my job) and undergo a medical test to prove I was fit and healthy which I am to keep from losing my job. My question is does my manager have the right to obtain my medical condition and is she within her rights to demand to know the medication and subject me to medical and given the information - fire me because of it? Is it her business and right to know and would I have even have had to tell her to legally keep my job? Would it be considered unfair dismissal or discrimination if she did fire me? I'm living and working in Australia as a permanent resident (I'm from nz) and want to know what my rights are regarding privacy, medical conditions and discrimination concerning employment and being on suboxone treatment. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Ok I understand that plz do not offended with what i said, and im sure you do know why i was concerned. I hope you can get the help to continue your treatment while here. Is there any chain pharmecy's there that might be here like walmart or somthing, maybe your pharnistits can help you with what to do, I was on sub for 13 months and it helped me so much to get my life back. And the last thing I want to do is to offend anyone on here so if my post was a little harsh im sorry truly!! Good Luck too you!!

i have been on the suboxone program for years now. and i do want to be clean when i go but by what i have been reading it will take long to be clean.i talk to my DR yesterday and he said that he will write me a letter saying that i'm on the suboxone program in australia to bring with me but i found out that you can't bring suboxone across custom to US.

If your on H and just wanting help getting sub while in the US and then going back on the H, go to a DR now and please seek help with your addiction and we will support you all we can but to help you score sub while here is not what this is about. No offence meant we can and will help you get clean.

you should see your dr in australia before you leave. that would be easier.

i have email one of the doctor at las vegas but told me his practice only treat people with las vegas license. can you explain to me to process of going to a doctor in USA with no insurance, similar to my situation. do you think i should try to ask other doctor(sub) in las vegas or is this is how the law work over there.
