I war within. the fight will begin again. tomorrow i face another withdrawal and big smile comes upon my face.  it is a war. we fight for our lives here. outside the forums, the mmt offices, the pain med doctors, the streets and rooms of aa. people do not understand. and that is ok because you all do. the strength i derive from you all is priceless. it is a crucial element to any thomas recipe.
i will grit my teeth, hit the pavement, clock in to work and even smile. i will sweat, have insomnia be sick and have anxiety. i will also have joy for i will win this fight.

you will too.

its 36 hrs. went to work and it went great. i'm surprised at how good i feel. my attitude remains positive. i hope tomorrow is similar.
