tylenol extra strength

Hello
My daughter gets headaches from her scoliosis and her boyfriend is telling her to take 2 extra strength advil and 2 extra strength tylenol all at once as he said if she takes any less it will not take the headache away,
When I reacted he said to trust him as he was a nurse but everything I read says that is an overdose.

Basically that would be like 8 of the regular pills that you would take over a 24 hr period taken all at once.

Is this a dangerous thing to do?

Thank you for your comments.
She is going to a specialist on July 12th so we will see what he says.
I agree it is too much. All drugs are hard on the liver.
Hopefully she finds a good alternative. She used to go to a chiropractor but now a massage therapist and physio too.

Hello and welcome to the forum. This is to much Tylenol.. it may take time but the build up in the liver does happen then the live can not process it causing scaring damage. my suggestion would be for her to see a Dr. and not take advice from her boyfriend.. I'm sorry she has to deal with migraines but there are better drugs suited for this.. lesa
