i am 6 days clean from vicodin and the first 3 days were bad im not gonna lie. It feels like a really bad flu. By my 4th day i felt like a brand new person. By day 5 i went back to work, still i feel great. If you want to get your life back it takes up to 5 short but yet so long days. It feels so good that i no longer have to count pills for the week or miss out on things cause i had no pills. I dont have to pop one just to get out of bed. To be honest the withdrawls are easy compared to the mental trip you go through. I can say that whatever you do, stop and take 5 days of your life to get the rest of your life back. Good luck and come on here often. There are a lot of experienced and wonderful people here.

on more thing, how long have you been using and how many per day? That could be important to how long your withdrawls last. You can ask any questions you want here, someone is always willing to help.

The withdrawal part of quitting can last for 3-5 days, the severity depends on how much and how long you were taking it. You could feel blah for weeks or months afterwards, but again that depends on how much and for how long.

There are natural remedies that you can use to deal with both the withdrawals and how you feel afterwards, so there really isn't a whole lot to worry about when you do decide to quit.
The most important thing is WANTING to quit. Keeping a positive attitude and focusing on that,  will go a long ways towards ensuring success.
