vicodin free for 12 days. YEAHHHH ~ 1 more ?

Thank you... Thank You.... Thank You...

You guys really helped me get through this.
I am now at the end of my 12th day free of a very bad vicodin addiction. I took two 7.5 vics at a time, every few hours. About 20+ pills a day. The first few days were the worst, sweats, nausea, tired. The goosebumps and restless leg syndrome was the worst, which is what caused me lack of sleep. These symptoms are now gone.

I have one more question for you guys. When will I have my energy back.
I still feel lazy. These pills made me clean and get all of my work around the house done and I still have days that I cn't get off the couch. It is a very lazy feeling, nothing too horrible, but I would love to have my strength back. I take vitamins, any other suggestions for regaining my energy back?

Yes congrats on day 12. Like mentioned above you can try taking some B vitamins, maybe a multi-vitamin and if your not on any anti-depressants the l-tyrosine does give you a little boost in energy and motivation. I tried all the vitamins and amino acids and they did help some but I still felt very lethargic all the time. Now it sounds horrible but like kim said excercise is incredibly effective on speeding up the process. I started out just taking a long walk everyday, sometimes 2 or 3, walking my jack russell, even that helped my energy and mood out quite a bit. I slowly progressed into going to the gym and I can honestly tell you within 10days of working out I all of a sudden felt like I had endless amounts of energy. That started about 4months ago and I now go 3-5times a week, take my dogs for walks everyday and Ive never felt this good without pills. Now Ive detoxed several times in my life and it seems like everytime I really never felt like I was completely normal, but I think I found the missing ingredient this time. Anyways I'll stop with the excercise preaching but its helped me both physically and mentally more than anything else Ive ever tried. So if you can muster the energy to get up and go for a brisk walk, see if it helps, I really noticed a difference right away. Regardless with time you will start to feel alot better, as you know it does take some time, keep up the good work and good luck with your continued success. Take Care!

Congratulations on 12 days. That is a great accomplishment. Unfortunatly the energy is a problem for awhile. If you are not on antidepressants try the 5 HTP or L-tyrosine. You can get it at GNC. Check out Thomas recipe under health pages in the upper right of the forum for recommended dosage. This is only temporary and it will pass. Stay strong. God bless, Corey
