before you read the journal i want you to know that i am extremely adhd, and so is my son, now i blamed myself for a very long time because i believed that his developmental problems was a result of me taking paxil when i was pregnant, but the more i research this, the evidence pointts more toward genetics than anything else
do not drown yourself in a sea of guilt, the past is the past, we can move forward by doing the next right thing
early in recovery i did this parenting in recovery workbook and it completly changed my relationship with my children
the workbook makes the addict face up to the problem, and guides them to a more structured form of parenting, if you are interested i can find it for you, its been a while since i have looked at that information, i wold love to go back through it

It would be very hard to know for sure if there is a connection between the two I have never heard anything like that
