You have come to the right place with the right kind of question :) Start posting and you will have many, many new friends. And even better, start posting and simultaneously find and attend AA or NA meetings.

Here's something random: Kurt Vonnegut famously wrote that the very best of human understanding was contained in three documents:

The Bill of Rights
Robert's Rules of Order
The principals of Alcoholics Anonymous

Hi, manyflaws3. I just joined tonight and am looking for the exact same thing here! :-) I'd like to be your friend and talk about the various things that go into this recovery process. My name is Ken and I'd like to add you as a friend.

Welcome to you, friend LOL  Lots of us recovering or fighting to recover here....you'll get lots of support and make friends.  For me, I've found that the more I share about myself, the more others share back with me.

How long are you clean?  Do you have family or aftercare support?
Wanna share more about yourself....then when we read, those that can relate to what you share in a particular way will respond to you.

Glad you found MedHelp......and we'll all be here for ya~
