I didn't take oxys but I did take loratabs, but just want to say if you want to quit, don't let withdrawal scare you away. It is nothing that you can't do. Just make up your mind, get prepared with supplies from the Thomas recipe to help you through, post here for support, If you can get a few days off from work or whatever, that you can have "the flu" that is good. It may be uncomfortable but you can hunker down and do it. I think like Nighthawk said, getting mentally prepared and motivated goes a long way in this battle. Too, I think people dread withdrawal more than necessary....at least many times they do. For the amount you are taking, I think you have a good shot at being successful and quitting. Good luck!
Sounds to me like you've gone through the crux of withdrawal symptoms already if you've been clean for a week at time. There are sleep aids that are non active, sleepy time tea etc. as I'm also sure there is something that can be done for the restless leg syndrome should these symptoms continue, which in most cases do diminish with time. You haven't mentioned what your specific reasons are for wanted to quit the oxycodone. These reasons will be what motivates you, so you need to do a cons list and use it in your detox.
