weird question

Im almost at 4 wks clean now, and have detoxed myself plenty of times before. but yesterday my hands broke out in a weird rash. They look like i have poison ivy. since i work at a restaurant, i thought it could be a latex allergy, although i have been in the industry for 15 years and never had a problem. But now my feet and even my ears are breaking out, and its starting to get painful. I have taken a b 12 supplement and potasium vitamin, plus the 5 htp this wk, but have taken them all before with no reaction. In this early stage, its easy to wonder whats related to withdrawls and what may just be an allergic reaction to something. Just wondering if anyone else ever had that happen?

Hi,

This doesn't sound like it's related to your detox.

Supplements rarely cause allergies but you should stop them just in case.

Ask for advice from your pharmacist and get an otc antihistamine like loratidine.

You also need to think about anything new you may have used recently, like laundry powder/liquid, soaps or shampoo.

See your doctor if it hasn't died down by Monday.

All the best
