whats up everyone been awhile
its been awhile!! if any of you remember me i was hooked on oxy and was posting here back in december. well, im clean now and have been doing very well. how have you all been?
I also have taken Tramadol for 2 years. I'd been on it for some rectal pain that the doctors didn't seem to know what was going on. And their Doctors? Enough said. I found out it was IBS. It's almost like a spasm in the muscle in the rectum. I don't remember what gave me the idea to take Bentyl for it, but low and behold it worked! 40mg is my dose of Bentyl.
So that said I want off the tramadol, if I don't need the pain medication any longer. IF you have any left say 30 or so, you can wean yourself off to avoid serious WD symptoms. This is from a real Pharmacist per another forum I was reading. Lucky for me that I didn't get rid of them. I just called my pain management doctor to see the tapering schedule they would recommend for me. If you have the tablets they are easy to break in half with a pill cutter. The rule is 10% per day.
4&1/2 first day
4 tabs second day
3@1/2 tabs third day
3 tabs forth day
2&1/2 fifth day
2 tabs sixth day
1&1/2 tabs seventh day
1 tab eighth day
1/2 tab ninth day
And your off
I have also a good anti-depressant that is natural, go to Protazen.com. They come in 60 capsules and you take two a day. The cost is $28 a month supply. No prescription is needed and it's natural. I am just starting my taper off. Wish me luck! It's nice to know there is support out there for us. The website was a big help for me.
