I agree with everyone, this is an urgent matter.  You MUST be thoroughly evaluated to see the extent of any damage so it can be addressed immediately.  Don't even bother with your doctor, go straight to the ER, go in and tell them exactly what's going on.  They will need to do extensive diagnostic testing.  Your doc is going to send you straight to the hospital, so save yourself a step.  They need all of the info in order to properly help you.  That's what they're there for.  NOTHING else matters, not a job, nothing, because the harsh reality is, if you don't get help, and soon, you won't be around.  That's not meant to scare you, but just to be honest.

There's no time for being scared right now hon.  Do what you have to do to save your life.  You're worth it!

I am sorry! I was wrong with my calculations. I thought it was 3000 of Tylenol. You are taking a very toxic level! We are all here to support you, and as Kyle said, go see a doctor!! A few days in the hospital is better than the alternative!

To be clear......I also was addicted to these awful things for 27 YEARS,
I know that you are telling the truth as I have been doing the exact
same thing as you.  It is hell yes.

CANADA our country, needs to do something about this .......you and I are
among many many many people here addicted to the same thing because they are so easy to get.

I am 37 days clean today and I would never have been able to do it without medhelp and these angels.

You are going to do this and we're all here for you.

Wow!  Please listen to everyone here and go see a doctor or really the hospital!  I was taking 20 pills a day with 325 mg of Tylenol and here is what happened to me!  A year ago I got sick over the weekend. Thought I had the stomach flu!  After 3 days of keeping nothing down, except for my pills, I went to the hospital. My liver was swollen to twice its size and not functioning!  I was scared to death!  Spent 2 weeks in the hospital then was released with a warning to stop the hydros. I went right back to them and still take them!  I know I am dumb but I am a addict!  So yes, you can have problems after taking so much!  It can happen to anyone no matter how many pills they take!  Somehow, my liver is ok today but I know if I continue that my liver will shut down again! Please, please get some help!

I'm usually a hard a** about things like this. Too many words and not enough action; but if this is true, then you'll need plenty of support when you finally start to detox, and I plan to be here and offer whatever I can. Now go see a doc.

whoa, that is crazy.  I can't believe your not dead.  That organ is working over time for you.  It will fail sooner or later though.  Your skins not yellow is it?  Are the whites of your eyes kind of yellow?  If so, your organs are shutting down.  Can you use the bathroom still?  Hopefully you would be in the hospital if this stuff was going on but you can expect this stuff if you keep going.  The codeine is the least of your problems.  yea, you feel like crap but that's the deal with the opiate.  The Tylenol is gonna shut all your s#$t down.  Might as well just go to the doc and tell him whats up. If you were more sensitive to the tylenol you would be dead already.  Basically you are poisoning yourself.

I hope that means you are going to see a doctor.  Just tell them that you went on a forum and everyone advised you to go right away.
Barb also mentioned that they can prescribe straight codeine with no Tylenol in it so you can taper off.  Maybe ask for that.

That's all you have to say...then they'll ask questions...be painfully honest. You'll do this and you'll be fine. Just take the step...

Everyone understands your frightened.  Everyone is when they go through this.  There's a lot of fear going forward and fear of the unknown is terrible for most people.  But even though you are frightened, try to remember that every person here has gone through this in some form.  Everyone has felt the fear and/or embarrassment.  Every single person here had to take that first step one way or another.  What you need to do is TRUST.  TRUST that the people here who have gone through this and come out the other side and tell you that life is so much better are telling you the truth.  TRUST that every person responding to you is very frightened for you.  TRUST that when you get back online after seeing the doctor that everyone here is going to be waiting to hear how things went.  TRUST that when you have a bad day while you're going through this that people here will cheer you on.

Please, please comment and tell us that yes, you are going to the ER or the doctor and will let us know how things went.  The only thing you need to do is take that one step.  Once you do you are handing all of this over to a skilled doctor who will know what to do.  Once you take that first step you don't have to be afraid anymore because the doctor is going to take care of you from that point on.

I live in Canada and I used to take these as well.  Not near as many.  You can get them OTC in Canada at any pharmacy.  They keep them behind he counter but you just have to ask for them.
I agree with everyone.  You do need to see your doctor ASAP.  You will be surprised at how much your doctor will help you.
