Some anti-depressents have addictive tendency's especially to people who have abused pain pills or other types of drugs in the past or currently,, you really have to talk with your doc and tell the truth of everything you have and are taking.  Anti-depressents will not take the though of pills away but wil help some of the emotional problems that could have caused you to start taking the pills in the first place if thats your case.  Always be truthful with your doc because there are other methods of curbing pill sick syndrome.

If you are asking about aminos and vitamins. They are not addictive and if taken right, are very safe. Anti-depressants are not addictive, but they need a Dr and never c/t off of them.

Don't go on anti depressants, unless you are really depressed! Look in my journals for the Thomas recipe and the post on amino acids. Many moods and cravings can be helped with these. Anti depressants in my opinion, should be the last resort. Unless you are already on them.

Not really. If you are depressed it can help the mood which helps a lot. When you are depressed it is very hard to fight the battle. You need to stay busy, read a book etc.. The mind still thinks about these pills, even on anti depressants.
