being determined is a major plus...both are addictive and replacing trams for vikes is not the answer...if u r addicted to both...u may want to quit them one at a time keeping in mind that trams must be tapered slowly...vikes can be quit CT...there is alot of info in the health pages...and lots of support here on the forum...keep posting

Your words of "I'm willing to do whatever it takes" will probably be what gets you through this.  Yes, you want the truth - ---  and you have heard it above ---- W/D's really su*k -- but many many people have gone through this and you can too.  No one here is sugar coating it so you will know when it gets bad that it will end -- you will not die ---although you may feel like it.   Hope you will get some help---- tell your doctor what you are doing --- nothing makes a statement of intent like burning your bridge to the supply of drugs.  Everyone here wishes you the best.  Please keep posting -- it really does help -- just ask any of us who went through it.  No matter what you are feeling -- keep posting.

It all depends on how many you were taking. But IMO, the W/D's from the Norco's will last about two weeks. The first 5 days are hell. 6 & 7 are too. lol. 8 & 9 start to get better, but then after that you will feel really weak for about1-1/2 through 2 more weeks.
IDK about the Ultram W/D's though...

Good Luck!

The problem is everyone is different.  I know my physical w/d's were not as bad as I thought they would be, but they did last for about 2 weeks, my chills lasted the longest.  Now of the 2 weeks, it was only really bad in the first 4-5 days, after that I felt it, but it was tolerable.  I really don't  have any experience with Ultram, I do have plenty of experience with Norco.  It also depends on how many you were taking a day.
Just know that it does not last and it gets so much better, you just have to give it some time.  Good Luck!
