I have had a bad time with Some as well. It was not what I had to withdraw from but pain pills and xanax were my main thing.
It is NOT at all easy. I took advil PM to sleep, took a lot of baths. with epsom salt is even better. helps you RLD (if you have it) I took clacium and magnisium supplement pills , which really helped, i think.
try and keep your mind occupied and busy while awake. read, tv, creat something, art, write in a journal is the best i honestly think.
well............really hope at least one thing helped you a little.
Oh, and about beingin front of the kid.....just do your best. You may have to"fake" it every now and then, but just tellher you don't feel well. You know it will AL pay off in the end.

That last line is a little scary I hope you mean end the soma, I have had a problem with soma, and oxy and benzzo's, and hydro, but i never just detoxed off the soma but I do know it is risky to go c/t off soma. Your heart is a mussel and your heart has gotten used to the soma and c/t can be very dangerous. Seek out a Dr. and let him/her help you. Good Luck to you.
it is important to taper off of soma and not to CT...u will probably need someone to hold ur pills for u and dole them out daily...there is an article in the health pages on tapering..there r some inexpensive meds that can help///u will need to see a doctor/even a gp/but in the long run this is way cheaper than what u r doing..they can give u some meds to ease wd that r very cheap/it is well worth it..and meetings r free...and they r everywhere...if u need help finding one near u just let me know
u gotta want this for urself....by "end it" do u mean quit using...keep posting
Congratulations on taking your life back. The best thing for that is the Thomas Recipie (Bottom Right) Start with that, then jump ct off Soma. I guess it's a good thing it has been for the high and not pain. Hopefully your pain will be tolorable coming off them. I have had Soma before but never a problem with them but I am sure someone out there has more advice. Keep posting to let us know how you are doing. Good luck!
