8th day of oxy detox - fever wont subside?

Hello,  I'm on day 7 of detoxing and overall I think I'm doing pretty good.  My wrestless legs and arms are  pretty much gone, although I still feel sore all over - it's nothing compared to days ago, I'm back on a full diet already now for several days and my stomach has completely filled back and regulated itself, I'm getting an average of 6 solid hours of natural sleep for the past several nights now, and some other symptoms I had before aren't bothering me anymore.  Overall I feel much better and I don't have any complaints - except...

I've been fighting a fever from the begging of my detox.  I had hot and cold sweats with a fever off and on the first few days when the withdrawal symptoms were the worst.  After the first 4 days all my systems have been seeming to come online, but for some reason this fever got worse and became persistent.  It's been a solid 3 - 4 days now (day 3 - 7 of my detox) that I've had a fever, which is causing a headache from eyes open in the morning to eyes closed at night.  It comes and goes in the daytime a little, but even though I'm nourishing my body with food, fluids, vitamins, minerals, rest, some movement during the daytime, head & full body massages, aroma therapy, hot showers, coffee (i drank coffee everyday before my detox so I thought maybe I was "withdrawing" from the caffeine),   ibuprofin (400mg and then i tried 800mg), paracemal (500mg then I tried 1000mg), cold washclothes, etc.  My feet are cold and my head is hot...headache behind the fever,..it's stayed like this for day 6 and day 7 now persistently.  It seems to me that it's getting worse when all my other symptoms are dissapprearing or are already gone.

Does anybody have any ideas why this might be happening?  Or any suggestions of how to beat the fever?

Thanks for the advice and help. As of now i'm on day 12 and the fever is gone.  The only symptoms I'm experiencing is sore restless muscles and joints.  Along with that my emotions are spiking up and down.

Good job! I wish I had the time to go cold turkey like you but can't because of a super busy job schedule. Not to give any bad news but I was once on an anti-deppressant which took 88 days until I had no symptoms of withdrawal BUT IT WILL COME!

Wow, it really seems like you are doing everything right. Are there any medications that you are taking that you have not mentioned? Did you stop any medications that you did not mention?
One thing you might try is getting a prescrption of Neurontin 900mg TID. That might help. Let me know.
