May I ask how detox works like what do they give you and how many days and how much does it help u from withdraws ? I also have thought about if a person can do that or get back on a very low dose and start back on pain meds and it be like you starting over again ? The reason for the question is that I have got use to my meds been on them for years the 80 mgs and they don't help pain plus can't eat never hungery also stay very weak . I want my life back and its seems just a cycle . Tied of pain and pills !!!!

Rapid drug detox is a process of blocking the opioid receptors with specific medications called Naloxone and Naltrexone which cause you to have immediate withdrawal from the narcotics in your system.  This is done while you are under anesthesia, so that most of discomfort is past when you wake up.
