Fentanyl Scare!!!!!

So I have a friend that squirted some fentanyl gel on my forearm today and I rubbed it in. It wasn't an excessive amount but it wasn't a few drops either. I obviously did this for recreational use.

Anyway, about 3-4 hours later, I took a bath with my two children. 2 and 1 years old. Are they in danger of this spreading to them and possible OD ing??? Please let me know, I am very concerned.

What you did was not very wise, please do not do it again. When you have small children you should not be under the influence of narcotics and certainly not exposing them to even a small dose. Your concern gives me hope that you are a caring mother and will not engage further in endangering   her children.

After several hours the fentanyl gel should have been transdermal absorbed.....you should have very   little to worry about with the children. Of course, observe them and if they should start to exhibit symptoms (nodding out, drowsiness) seek professional help. Monitor their respiration and seek help if it becomes shallow or laborious.......best of luck - - you really should be fine.
