I see you have wonderful and very inspiring things to say to people.  I thought you may have some words of wisdom for me.  I have been and RN for 20 years.  9 months ago I got caught taking a couple of a patients percocet.  I worked at the VA and they have their own police.  They charged me with a felony which I am working on dropping to a misdemeanor since it is my first offense.  I am a blessed mother of an 8 year old and I can't bear to see him suffer in any way.  I lost my first son to a heart defect after having a heart transplant so I take this mother thing very serious and how could I have even been addicted without being totally selfish!  So I am unemployed and feel like I will never get a job again nor will I be a nurse.  I have wanted to be a nurse since I could walk and I must say my patients loved me I always went the extra mile.  I had back surgery and the pills started.  I knew I was getting bad when I started buying them off the street and feeling like I was going to die without them.  I have been sober since 9/13/11.  I was taking care of my Great Aunt which came as a blessing since I lost my job but she has recently passed away, bless her heart.  I am trying to volunteer everywhere and will do anything.  I suffer severe depression, anxiety disorder and they say bipolar without the high parts.  I feel like I am going to crazy in my head with all this worry.  I just don't know what to do.  I pray constantly and hope things happended for a reason but if not I am scared ********.  I am going to fight for my license which was suspended for 5 years.  In three months after urine testing done weekly, AA meetings 2/week and counselor reports I can work with a limited license.  Who is going to hire a person with a misdemeanor and a limited license.  I feel like I ruined my life all over that pill, GOD help me.  I can't change anything so I guess I have to go with the flow.  If only I had money I would feel a little better but not nursing is killing me, I love it and helping people helps me.  Thank you for your time and wonderful comments to people.  It is pretty extraordinary for you to spend your time reading others stories and helping them......Cassie

Since you are pregnant, most of medications you can take to ease your withdrawal symptoms will be detrimental to the health of your unborn baby.  It seems rather unusual to me that you are more concerned about gaining weight than about possible consequences to the future of your child.
It is very good that you are able to stop using for as long as four or five days, but you need to realize that you must get early and regular prenatal care, eat healthy food, stop smoking and taking very good care of your body on a daily basis in order to have a healthy baby and give it a good start in life.
If you give your doctor or a midwife any reason to doubt your sincerity or your goodwill in regards to your baby's future, they may feel the need to test you or your baby's meconium when it is born. That can be done without your consent and any drug that you have used at any time after the 20th week of pregnancy will show up in that test.
So you need to talk to your OB or midwife and be honest and they will probably refer you to a physician who will be able to transfer you to Subutex or Suboxone and taper you so both you and your baby are clean before you give birth.  This way baby does not have to have withdrawals and be away from you even for a minute.
Please take a minute and read my blog about Addiction and Pregnancy by clicking on my name and than blogs. Good luck to you and stay well.
