Quiting is difficult. When I decided to quit I analyzed my day and when I smoked. I smoked after I ate and when I got in the Car and when I was sitting watching TV. I replaced a cigarette with something else. When I got in the car I chewed regular gum, after I ate I also chewed regular gum, when I watched TV I would occupy my hands by crocheting, knitting, folding laundry, doing puzzles. I haven't had a smole for 30 years, but I will tell you sometimes the smoke still smells good other times it is a horrible smell. This is something you have to look yourself in the mirror every day and tell yourself you will not smoke today. Somedays I did, but you try again the next day and one day you will go all day then you can begin building days, weeks then years. Prayer also helped me- Good Luck
Thank you I hadn't thought of that. Great resorceful idea thanks so much.
There are vapor based electronic cigarettes available in the market that have nicotine on it. Make sure to buy ones with the lowest milligrams and only use them when the cravings for cigarettes become unbearable. The oral fixation is a huge part of smoking so make sure to have some celery or carrot sticks on hand, as these help with the cravings as well.
Regardless of what you do, it’s worth putting this habit behind you to regain your health. Best of luck!
