Loratab

Hi,  I take 1 Loratab a day for many years for severe pain and fibromylagia. My Rheumotologist prescribes. I just take 1..no desire for any more..sometimes I take 1/2 in am and 1/2 in pm. Am I addicited and is this safe to take 1 a day. I am 58 years old. It does help my pain. I also take Paxil for the fibr which helps.

Thanx.

I would not be concerned about this amount as long as you do not need to increase and it keeps helping you.  Addiction has a very narrow definition in medical terminology and what you have described does not fit it even closely. It does not even come under the term of  "dependence" because of such low dose and no need for dosage increase. If this regiment is working for you, stick with it. Paxil is fine too.Good  luck and stay well.
