addition and pregnant help!!

i am currently 5weeks 5days pregnant and have been taking opites for a little while. i stopped taking them but was withdrawling so i am only taking one to two a day.. is there anything i can take that is ok for the baby for the withdrawling so i can get off of it?

Hi crystal , I too have the same problem with opiet addiction . I am 13 weeks pregnant and at 6 weeks when I found out I was pregnant I stopped using and switched to subboxon . I took a little bit to stop the withdraw feeling because that can make you miscarriage . After taking the sub. For a week I weaned myself off with no withdraw symptoms ( besides me just craving it from time to time ) . Now since I do have a bad back and pregnancy has made it worse , I take one here and there . Oxy condone is actually ok to take when used in a low dosage and only when needed so that the baby does not withdraw after birth . I think you should be honest with your doctor ...they wot judge and its confidential ..this way they can prescribe you the medication ( which is safe to rake during pregnancy ) to help you get off .
