Tapering Tramadol

Hey there:)

So it is day 2 of my taper and I feel pretty good! I only took 4 pills today and am proud of myself for not cheating and sticking to the taper. I felt really good all day long surprisingly on only 3 pills. Once I just took my 4th one, I am getting the restless legs now really bad. Why is that? You would think they wouldn't come just because I took another dose. Anyway, for those who are new I tried to quit CT Sunday night and that was a nightmare. The worst night of my life and I cannot even come up with words to describe how terrible I felt. Now that I have very slight w/d's during this taper, I don't care, it so much more manageable!! Well tomorrow is 3 pills so wish me luck!! Good night everyone!!

Thanks for the info...do you really think sugar and caffeine will make my legs worse? I do have soda every day. I tried Calcium pills but they made me feel funny so I just take Magnesium and a multi-vitamin.

I hope you had a good night of sleep.  The restless leg syndrome is oftentimes a part of the withdrawal process.  When you get to such low dosages, withdrawal symptoms might surface.  It sounds to me that you are decided to succeed and put this issue behind you, try these tips to alleviate the pain:

Try taking calcium supplements as that might help to ease the muscle aches.  Refrain from having sugars and caffeine as these elevate your anxiety level which in turn causes more muscle contractions.  You can also soak in a warm bath with Epsom salt.

I commend you on your strength and commitment to succeed and wish you an easy and safe detox.
