Thank you !

Thank you Doctor Junig, I had already prayed about it and my husband is tapering me off of these pills, I've went from 6 to 4 and a half, I already in my heart knew that was not the way to go, I just had a bad feeling about it. Thank you so much for you quick responses on this website and may God bless you for all of you help for everyone on this forum! Bama Girl

Standard thought is10-15% per week or ten days........this allows the body to adjust and eliminates most of the dramatic w/d symptoms from cold turkey.  Let your body tell you what to do - - you arent on a high dose......many are on multi hundred mg doses......Look at your situation as taking 45mg of hydro per day......thats 4.5 norcos.  Then drop by one half pill for 7-10 days - probably seven....it will take a little longer the lower you go. Then a week later go down another 1/2.   Now at 3 and a half break those things into as many equal pieces as is possible. And take those pieces throughout the day - at set intervals (maybe every three/four hours..) - to keep from spiking blood serum levels with dose and to maintain moderate dose to avoid w/d symptoms from setting in......... have some immodium handy for loose stolls and emetrol for upset stomach. Probably wont need those at your dose.....but NOW is the time to stop before you find out what hitting rock bottom is like......no place to be, I tell ya!!
