sinus inflamation due to cocaine

The last time i did cocaine was on the 3rd September and my sinuses have not been the same since, three weeks on.
I have been to my local GP and she has had a look up my nose and has said everything is raw but there are no holes or permanant damage.
My question how long will it take for my sinuses to repair as its now been week 3, my left side is permantly blocked and i have headaches and my eyes are so dry.
My doctor has prescribed me sterimar solution, nasobec aqueous nasal spray and naseptin nasal cream and it hasnt really given me much relief.
I also have ear aches that come and go and a loss of appetite and have lost a stone since the 3rd september.
I have done cocaine as a recreational drug but now know i must never touch it again as i thought i was going to die on it.
Can you help me and roughly tell me how long it will take for my sinuses to heal
Thanx

I would try NEILMED Sinus rinse (WalMart).  Flushes out the sinuses and is much better than saline spray.
I have never used drugs for recreational purposes, but I hope you are able to stay free of them.
Best wishes.

Unfortunately some of the damage caused to the nasal mucosa by the use of cocaine could be long standing. I would suggest that you see an ENT (ear/nose/throat) specialist who would give you some suggestions as to how to deal with theses symptoms.  However, normal saline spray sounds reasonable as are the rest of your GP's suggestions.
I am happy for your resolve not to use illicit substances anymore, especially now that you know how deleterious they can be to your body.
Good luck to you.
