norco and trazodone

I currently take norco 325-10's about 8-10 a day for my bad back and my doctor is now giving me 25 mg a night to help me sleep. Will I become addicted to this medication and can I take this with my 2 norco pills together at night? Thank you

A large number of our patients took Trazodone in conjunction with opiates before they went through our detoxification and have had no issues.  What sounds a bit concerning is the quantity of Norco’s you are taking.  Your tolerance level could escalate in parallel to your pain level.  This condition is called Hyperalgesia and you can check our website for more information at http://www.opiates.com/newsletters/opioid-induced-hyperalgesia.html. I hope you sleep better and feel less pain. All the best!
