pot and pregnancy

I'm 15 weeks today and I have smoked daily for 5 months or so. I know I need to quit because its a risk to my baby and my mom said that if I don't quit that cps will be called and child will be taken when born. The problem is that I'm very stressed so its hard to quit right now but also I can't eat unless I smoke first. I have little to no appitite and often get sick if I don't eat I tried the so called "neasua" medication for a few days and that didn't help it just made things worse. What can I do. Its it really going to effect my baby negatively if I don't stop and will my child be taken away?

What I don't understand is that I have quit a for a month and was clean inbetween thoes five months and I didn't have withdrawals this is not something I can't live with out I'm just saying that I've tried EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to be able to eat even medication. And smoking pot is the only thing that works. The doctors even told me that its not doing harm to my baby they said if I pass some drug tests while pregnant cps is less likely to be involved as long as the baby is clean when its born

You need to speak to your doctor about all the side affects you feel when quitting, so he can make this process safe for you and your baby. Your mom is correct, the pot can be affecting your baby’s development but you do have to withdrawal safely for both of you and that is why is so important to discuss your options with the doctor that is following your pregnancy. In the end, will be good for you as well,  to put this issue behind and start your family in a healthy way.
I wish you and your baby a safe and healthy life.

Marijuana use has not been proven to affect an unborn baby , and your mom is right cps will be called if your baby has any traces of any drug . i had the same going on with my last pregnancy i dint quit smoking it until 3 mnths before i had my bby and that was cause my doctor told me to quit 3 mnths before so the bby shows up clean i was fine and so is my bby but really don't take this advise to keep doing it if you feel like u need to quit do it its in your hands .
