Hi all,
thanks in advance.  I have hasimoto's, and am on Armour thyroid.
I was just prescriped 10mg Hydrocortisone.

Here were my adrenals....

AP Free Cortisol Rhythm - Saliva

06:00 - 08:00 AM result: 15 Normal; ref values:  13-24 nM



11:00 - 1:00 PM result: 5 Normal; ref values:  5-10 nM



04:00 - 05:00 PM  result: 3 Normal; ref values:  3-8 nM



10:00 - Midnight result: 3 Normal; ref values:  1-4 nM



Total Cortisol Output: 26 ref values: 22-46nm

DHEA Pooled value 8 -- ref values adults 3-10

My pupils failed the aldosterone test, but my doctor wasn't comfortable with flurocortisone... will the 10mg HC help, do you think? Anything else I can do? Also: any side effects?

What is optimal level of vitamin D, thanks. My ferritin is about 25.

How are your thyroid levels? Free T3 and Reverse T3 in particular. You also want your vitamin D and ferritin to be optimal too (not just normal). I have found that getting my ferritin above 70 greatly improved my symptoms.

So you had normal tests... And he is giving you a sub par replacement dose...

That you don't need as your results are normal!

I would find another reason for your fatigue or symptoms.

Did your doc say whether these results were normal or low? They sound better than mine that i did privately.

I know a lady with Hashimotos... she runs a facebook group if you are interested..
