Could pheochromocytoma mask carpel tunnel?

I was diagnosed with a pheochromocytoma. Must have had it at least 10 years.  Had a adrenalectomy and immediately started getting symptoms of carpal tunnel, which have progressively gotten worse.  Could the high cortesol levels have relieved the symptoms during that time.  A cousin had the same surgery and now also has carpal tunnel.

I am not familiar with this... Could it be linked to calcium depletion?
