Desperately seeking a Dr Friedman-east

I live in the NY Ct NJ area and traveled to L.A to see Dr theodore Friedman for a diagnosis after many disappointment on the east coast.  Turns out I am Hypopit and have a growth hormone deficiency and mild diabetes insipidus.  I'm on HGH replacement as well as other hormone replacement and am being monitored by my local Endo here.  While I feel he's doing the best he can, he's out of his league.  Also it's not possible for me to fly back and forth to L.A to see Friedman.  I need a Dr on the east coast to monitor my HGH which I think is not working to the best of its abilities.  My IGF1 is still low after almost 2 yrs and if I increase I get fluid buildup.

I hope someone here can help me.  I'm a 60 something female but i look older and feel worse!  Thanks for any help.

I have no direct experience with endos in the tri state area as I live in Australia, but have the very highest regard for NYU. I had emergency surgery there 3 yrs ago and the competence and care I experienced was outstanding.

If I were you I would contact or google the Division of Endocrinology at NYU Langone Medical Center on First Avenue in Manhattan. Ask for an endo skilled in pituitary disorders.

Thanks Low Cortisol & Rumpled for the good suggestions.
Do any of you personally know of any good Endo's in the area that you can recommend?  Personal experience always helps.
I new for many years I had pituitary failure and thought once I was diagnosed and on meds, life would be easier.  Boy was i wrong!

He should have a list of doctors - and there are a few on the east coast that follow his same philosophy.

If you have confidence in Dr Friedman you should ask him to recommend someone on the east coast that he is confident about.

If that leads you nowhere I recommend you approach a pituitary surgery center in a leading hospital near where you live as they often have endos skilled in pituitary problems working in those units.

Try either of those suggestions first.
