Hawaii- Come on over ladies.
We can have a Pit-i-party Hawaii-style.Folks who live here don't tend to care about that "shallow" kind of stuff anyway. Living aloha :-{)
Horsey
We can go visit Horselip! I am all for it!!!!
As for the swimsuit, er, yeah, that would not be pretty... between the purple stretch marks, the excess hair... ah... are muumuu's still in style?
maybe we should take a trip to hawaii---aren't they supposed to be pretty temperate? how do you look in a swim suit?LOL!!
I have not heard anything - I just know it effects me quite badly. I have not noticed too much going back high hurting so much but when rain comes, I hurt badly.
They say the same about New England. I have no idea where there is a stable weather area...
i've heard that it is a pressure change either way--low to high or high to low--just any presure change. have you heard that low is worse? do you know why? of course, i live in idaho where the joke is "if you don't like the weather in idaho, wait 15 minutes and it will change." basically, we get alot of weather changes. i need to live somewhere that is more stable--if such a place exists!
I have taken mobic too! Yeah... I find the weather to be a huge factor - low pressure systems are killer.
maybe it is weather changes--the arthritis one of my feet is hurting a little and i have a little pain in my fingers. we're in the midst of Idaho spring---you never know what you will have from one day to the next--or from one part of a day to the next!!
i'm on a prescription anti-inflammatory. i take mobic 7.5 mgs twice a day. my shoulder aches alot, but i didn't wnt to do an MRI yet, so i asked if i could try the anti-inflammatory first. i think i've been on it for 2 weeks. I've also been starting to get pain deep inside my hip joint--i don't even know how to describe exactly where it is. it feels like it is about as far into the center of the joint as it can get--but it doesn't hurt to move my hip---it is just and ache that i can feel deep inside and it seems to ache down my leg for a ways. i had the same sensation in my knee a week or so ago. it didn't hurt to move my knee, but it just ached deepinside the joint and for a little way above and below my knee.
my knees used to hurt really bad at night--but it was a different kind of pain. my hips used to hurt years ago--sometimes sharp pains when i moved them--but then it disappeared for years. it will occassionally hurt every once in awhile, but it is movement related.
what i am feeling now is not movement related.
I would say the anti-inflammatory effect that you used to have, it gone. I would guess, and not being sure, that a narcotic would work less effectively than another anti-inflammatory type since that would be the issue.
I would suggest talking to a pharmacist about an OTC anti-inflammatory to see what you can do - as well as search for anti-inflammatory foods etc to see if any of that helps?
