The suppression test is... my least favorite to say if you do or do not. Leave that doctor and find another. It is obvious that doctor has no idea what he is doing. You need blood, urine and saliva testing to know with suppression being last to know source, not anything else.
Get copies of testing, and move on.

Thanks for your response. She dismissed me because I dont look like I have Cushings, Im losing weight...but I have terrible hirsutism, high libido, hair comes out in clumps, severe lower back and flank pain and my hunger and thirst is so bad at times.. im having alot of chest pain and palpitations too.
The adenoma has grown from 2.0 to 2.3 from last year...!

Anyway, I did two 24 hr cortisol urine and they were elevated, and two saliva tests... the AM was super high and the late night was elevated. My WBC count was elevated recently too and my potassium is low (although there were times that it was higher) when I was rushed to ER...seemed like I was having some sort of adrenal crisis!!

Im so sick of being sick and not getting help

My endo dismissed me and not only that, was given no treatment at all for my hormonal issues. She told her nurse to tell me to go back to my doctor and give me bitth control pills! I feel so hopeless

Don't give up. You may be cyclical.  Sorry I am recovering from surgery and I am only popping in and out.

Weight gain is a symptom but not everyone has every symptom, like not everyone has stretch marks or a buffalo hump. Your doctor simply is clueless. Find an expert. Go for a university or largely hospital and try for a neuro endocrinologist and see if you have enough to be taken.

I know it is frustrating as been there, done that... it make take doctor shopping.

Thanks for your response. Sorry, hope your recovery goes well.
Something just isnt right. Especially in the luteal phase of cycle...I am so extremely cold and I ended up in the ER department a few days ago because of crushing chest pain...thought I was surely having a heart attack. My morning cortisol is high, and my evening is elevated too....but I look like I have Addisons! My hirsutism is getting pretty bad and my hair comes out in clumps...huge clumps. No one will help me. Only thing I noticed is when I took Dexamethasobe I felt better...had energy and felt good.....I am baffled. I feel like Im dying and no one is helping me.. : (

I did a little test and took 0.5mg of dex in the morning and at first I had a jolt of energy and then I became VERY FATIGUED.
But when I did the 1mg overnight test I felt good the next day and had energy..clear head..I actually felt hopeful. I dont understand??   I feel if I dont get help soon something will happen to me :(
