No, ANA and ESR (aka SED rate) are tests for inflammation. That is all for what she said - fibro.

Hi,

I'm so sorry about what you're going thru...sending you a private message, as my reply is going to be too long.  If you typing in your search engine about Interpretation of Lab results, you will probably get an idea what your tests mean.

There are many medical conditions their symptoms overlap each other...Hang in there, and I'll chat more on PM.

Hugs,

I just got back from picking up my prescriptions for my pain meds and told my rheumatologist what was going on and showed her my gums. She said wow they are really purple and that it has nothing to do with Lyme. She doesnt take my insurance anymore so I am working to find another Dr but she works with me. She wants me to have ANA with titer-ESR and checked fibromyalgia on blood work page. What will this test say. Will it tell if I have Addisons or some other adrenal problem

I would find an endo - you may have to travel. Delayed puberty may also indicate some other issue like CAH (congenital adrenal hyperplasia) or some variation of that.

There are many adrenal diseases - not just Addison's.

No I just discovered Addison on internet. My Dr is treating me for Lyme and has my test results for my thyroid. I also crave sugar and salt like i will put a lot of sugar on cream of wheat which is all i can eat lately
