Stomach discomfort after taking prednosone

I took two rounds of prednisone (Dosage:  days 1 and 2 - 40 mg; days 3,4 - 30 mg; days 5,6 - 20 mg, and days 7,8 - 10 mg).  I had 10 days between the two rounds of prednisone.  This was to treat what is suspected to be symptoms of a pinched nerve in my neck, but may end up being a damaged disk in my neck.  Now I have stomach discomfort.  The only thing that relieves my pain is 400 mg advil every 6 hours.  I know this will further irritate my stomach.  What can I do to settle my stomach back down?

Eat with everything you take - take it with a large class of milk, eat crackers, or something.

Advil will also eat your stomach.

Speak to the pharmacist about your discomfort and if you can take any OTC meds and when and how to take them. I take steroids to live and you can only take the acid reducers in a certain way in order not to reduce the potency of the other meds you are on.

Talk to your doctor as well - but eat.
