I grew up on wonder bread, but now I like rye, multi-grains and all the others... as long as you get a good quality one it is easier to transition.
Udi's makes a fairly decent gluten free white bread, it just needs to be toasted. Also if you are into baking, Bob's Redmill has as good gluten free bread mix. I thought I could never give up gluten, but since I feel so much better off of it, it actually was easier than I thought. That is not to say I never miss it, because there are times that I do. I just remind myself that if I eat it I will feel terrible for at least three days, and to me that is just not worth it!
I hope you find the answers,

i will certainly have a look, but i love white bread.......cant give that up!!
As far as gluten goes, just because the blood test came back negative does not mean that you are not gluten intolerant. The blood test is not very accurate. The best way to find out if your intolerant is to go on a gluten free diet. If you are interested here are some sites that will help you.

Duh, you said you saw one... my brain... did you get a copy of the tests she ran? Did he/she run deep tests or just basic stuff?
Fatigue is a non-specific symptom in that many disorders have it as a symptom so it is hard to pinpoint what is causing it... it takes a good doc and a persistent patient to get to the bottom of the cause...
Have you seen a rheumy - there are many other auto-immune disorders, etc?
i seen one but she said i didnt have any inflammation in my joints but the pains exisits!!
i would like a 24 hour cortisol test but i will ask my endo when i see him next wk.
was negative for rheumatoid factor , gluten and hemochromatosis.
my blood sed rate was 1(2-19)
i did say fatigue is my biggest problem
Maybe you should see a rheumy? Sounds auto-immune to me, a layman...
High cortisol can cause a lot of issues like that too! Any 24 hour cortisol testing or cortisol testing at other times other than morning? Just because you are low in the morning does not mean you are low at night...
hi
thanks for the advice,my main symptoms are extreme fatigue lack of stamina and joint\muscle pains particularly in the knees, soles of feet and shoulders. also random pains. recently i have developed carpal tunnel and tinnitus.

Testing cortisol in the morning only is not adequate. Cortisol normal goes up and down. It needs to be tested at other times of the day.
Your ACTH stim test was very normal.
Was your ACTH test done correctly? Chilled tube, spun immediately - frozen promptly?
You don't indicate your symptoms but usually low thyroid comes along with, ironically, high cortisol...the cortisol suppressing the thyroid...
